Alpha Raleigh
Stephanie is a former teacher and education consultant who helped lead two national initiatives to strengthen K–12 systems. Seeing how difficult it is to create change within traditional schools, she was drawn to Alpha’s bold model and commitment to students. She helped launch new Alpha campuses in Florida and Virginia, and is now focused on building Alpha’s parent community in the Triangle.

Courtney brings over 22 years of educational experience as a classroom teacher, team leader, school administrator, and education consultant, working with students in K-16 settings across a breadth of private and public schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, a Master of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master of Arts from Brooklyn College.

With a background in science and business, she brings a creative, hands-on approach to teaching that sparks curiosity, imagination, and problem-solving in every student. Tamara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Gardner-Webb University and an MBA from North Carolina State University.

Jen is an instructional leader skilled in educator coaching, curriculum design, and data-driven instruction. With a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, AIG licensure, and authored curriculum featured at state conferences, she creates inspiring, student-centered learning experiences that reflect her creative, energetic approach and support every learner’s success.
Supporting with a caring heart means championing each student’s potential and trusting wholeheartedly in their ability to achieve greatness through their own effort and determination.

Erica is a literacy specialist and equity leader who loves learning as much as she enjoys teaching and coaching. More than 18 years of experience in public education and community nonprofit spaces have underscored the importance for her of building and maintaining meaningful relationships. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum & Instruction from North Carolina State University.
Children are the ultimate role models of unbridled enthusiasm for learning and discovery while appreciating the benefits of paying kindness forward; they simply need us to inspire, encourage, and stay out of their way.
