Alpha Lake Forest
As the Dean of Parents at Alpha, my mission is to help students and families thrive—in learning and in life. Over the past decade, I’ve guided kids, parents, and community mentors in equipping students to take ownership of their learning and grow with purpose. My background blends education, coaching, and organizational leadership, focused on helping people reach their potential in healthy, sustainable ways. At Alpha, I help create an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to turn curiosity into mastery.
The most significant help we can offer is to walk beside even one young person.

Alexis brings a unique blend of mindset coaching, youth development, and purpose driven leadership to her role as Lead Guide at Alpha Lake Forest. With nearly a decade of experience coaching athletes, creatives, and young leaders, she’s partnered with organizations like Nike, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and the NFL Players Association. Rooted in a family nonprofit that has served youth for over 20 years, she carries that purpose forward by helping students believe in themselves, pursue the dreams placed on their hearts, and build the mindset and character to achieve them.
I'm here to help our students push past limiting beliefs, learn faster than they thought possible, and operate from a sense of purpose that will shape who they become, both in school and far beyond it.

Lorine is an experienced educator with more than 15 years in the classroom and two AMI Montessori diplomas. Her work as both a teacher and School Director has given her a deep understanding of how children learn and thrive. Shaped by a rich multicultural background, she brings warmth, presence, and intention to every interaction—building trust, inspiring curiosity, and helping students grow in confidence and independence.
By being present and intentional, I build trust and connect deeply with each child, guiding them to love learning, grow confident, and develop life skills with care and curiosity.

Prathima brings 20+ years in tech, UX, marketing, and education to Alpha. A former software engineer turned educator and strategist, she’s helped young learners build confidence through digital media, movement, and storytelling. As a mom of three, she creates warm, curious spaces where every child can shine.
I seek to understand each child’s story—culturally, academically, and personally—so they feel confident to explore, learn boldly, and use their unique experiences to inspire others.

Alpha Lake Forest is located in Foothill Ranch, serving families from Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Portola Hills, and the greater South Orange County area. If you live near ZIP codes like 92610, 92630, or 92691, you’re within a short drive of our campus.
We chose Foothill Ranch for its safety, accessibility, and strong family-oriented community. It’s just minutes from the 241 toll road, with quick access for families commuting from Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and Irvine. Being near the Foothill Ranch Towne Centre and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park means students benefit from both convenience and nature.
Every school day includes 60–90 minutes of outdoor play, weather permitting. We use our outdoor area for biking, games, and movement breaks—and we’re just a few minutes from Whiting Ranch, a beautiful natural space that brings a breath of fresh air to learning
Each Alpha student follows a customized learning path built with adaptive apps that adjust in real time to their progress. Our Lakeforest students are mastering core subjects at their own pace—with no gaps, no burnout, and no unnecessary review.
Outside of academics, Guides work 1:1 with students to set goals and choose workshops—from nature inspired science to digital storytelling—based on interests. Whether a student lives in Foothill Ranch, Portola Hills, or Mission Viejo, they’re on a path that fits them perfectly.
Yes, Alpha Lake Forest is open and enrolling for K–3. We’d love to meet your family and show you around—come see how we’re changing what school can be!
The daily schedule at Alpha runs from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM. Students arrive for morning drop-off at 8:15–8:30 AM, and the day finishes with afternoon pick-up between 3:30–4:00 PM.
