Alpha Plano
Andy Gibson has dedicated his career to youth development through sport and education. He has worked with the Dallas Stars and USA Hockey to grow ice hockey and founded Dallas Stars Adaptive Sports to create inclusive opportunities for all athletes. A former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, he’s passionate about helping kids reach their full potential.

With 20 years in education, Jennifer is thrilled to be part of the Alpha community! She’s served as an elementary teacher, academic coach, and education specialist with Kentucky’s Department of Education. As a National Board Certified Teacher with training in Orton Gillingham and LETRS, she’s passionate about literacy and helping every student reach their fullest potential.
My goal is to create an environment where every child loves coming to school, where curiosity drives learning, growth feels exciting, and students not only master academics but build life skills that shape driven, confident learners!

Whitney has spent six years teaching math, writing curriculum, and leading students to the highest academic growth in her district. She has also built successful businesses, from a clothing brand to a chatbot service to managing rentals. Her greatest passion is helping kids see how capable, creative, and powerful they are.
I bring contagious enthusiasm, keep learning in the “just right” challenge zone, and connect lessons to what makes each student tick so they grow fast and believe in themselves.

Sanura brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to her role as a Guide at Alpha. With experience teaching abroad, coaching underprivileged youth, and running a life coaching practice, she helps students connect deeply with themselves and others. Her background in psychology and technology shapes her unique, reflective approach to problem-solving and learning.
Learning thrives when kids feel safe to be curious and authentic. I guide students to know themselves, think critically, and grow the emotional intelligence to live with confidence.
