Alpha Lexington
Dr. Tasha Arnold is a dynamic educational leader with extensive experience in American and international schools across the US, Europe, and Asia. She has spent her career transforming schools, implementing innovative learning models, and fostering personalized educational experiences that empower students to reach their highest potential. She has taught at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels, specializing in IB/AP Sciences and Learning Support across various curriculums (USA, UK, IB, and AP).
I joined Alpha because I believe in redefining education. Personalization, hands-on learning, and skill development are the pillars of a truly impactful education. Alpha’s approach aligns with my vision of ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally in a way that is uniquely suited to them.
Ben Gordon-Sniffen is Alpha Boston’s Head Guide, supporting students through Alpha’s two-hour learning model and life-skills workshops. He helps students build independence, confidence, and ownership of their learning through high-expectation coaching and personalized support.
I hold students to high standards while tailoring each step to match their starting point and build them up. I connect social-emotional skills to what matters most to them, so they understand how those tools improve their learning and their lives.
Sean Satterlee brings more than a decade of experience across education research, organizational leadership, and classroom teaching. Before joining Alpha, Sean was a partner at Consilient, where he designed and led research that shaped education programs across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East and worked closely with schools, families, donors, and education leaders. Earlier in his career, Sean was a Teaching Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and taught at both the high school and university levels. Having worked across a range of educational models, Sean is especially enthusiastic about Alpha's evidence-based approach to how students learn and the transparency it gives families into their children's progress.
Brandon Maddox leads admissions for Alpha’s Boston campuses, where he helps families discover an approach to learning built around who their child already is. He is usually the first person a family meets at Alpha, and he treats that conversation the way he knows a Guide will treat their child: with deep curiosity about who they are and the desire to maximize the potential that lives inside them.
Brandon brings an unusually wide lens to his work as Director of Admissions. He played Division I football at the United States Air Force Academy and Vanderbilt University, holds a B.A. in Medicine, Health & Society and an M.A. in Consciousness, Psychology & Transformation, and spent several years as a senior business development professional and entrepreneur. He is currently writing a book, You Are the Key, on the core principles of foundational transformation. Brandon lives in the Boston suburbs with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
