I joined Alpha because I believe in redefining education. Personalization, hands-on learning, and skill development are the pillars of a truly impactful education. Alpha’s approach aligns with my vision of ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally in a way that is uniquely suited to them.

My love for learning has carried me around the world — from classrooms in Spain & Italy to Argentina and the Dominican Republic — and I can’t wait to bring all of it to your students. I’m a bilingual educator with a Master’s in Teaching, and over the years I’ve taught and mentored learners of every age, from little ones sounding out their first words to high schoolers, college students, and even adults. I also spent 8 years as a sommelier, building hospitality programs from the ground up. Coaching and mentoring drives me, whether it be in the classroom or on the field, I highly align with Alpha’s mentor mindset and the baseline for all we do: kids are limitless. I can’t wait to help your child discover where their own passions meet purpose!
When I’m not with students, you’ll find me chasing the things I love most — my 2 kids (Enzo & Maya), travel, or a good workout or hike. I’ve been lucky enough to explore various countries (most recently living in Italy for 2 years!) I love experiencing new ways of seeing the world. Whether it’s on a court, a trail, or in a classroom, I’m happiest when I’m helping someone discover what they’re truly capable of.
Hi! I’m Kirsten, and I’ll be the Reading Specialist at the Miami Beach campus. I’m a passionate educator with a strong background in literacy instruction and have worked with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Washington, D.C. area. In addition to supporting literacy development, I have experience working with multilingual learners and students receiving special education services, helping them build confidence and close gaps in reading and writing. I’m excited to partner with students and families to foster a love of reading and help every child grow as a learner.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active through fitness, which helps me recharge and maintain a healthy balance. I also love baking and trying new recipes to share with family and friends. In my free time, you’ll often find me meditating, painting, or making music and singing—creative outlets that help me relax, recharge, and bring a little more joy into each day.
As an experienced athletic director and educator, I am deeply committed to creating meaningful opportunities that support the academic, personal, and social development of every student. I hold two master’s degrees in Social Justice in Education and Athletic Administration. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to coach, mentor, and lead comprehensive athletic departments and student athletes, experiences that have reinforced my belief that education and athletics can serve as powerful platforms for building confidence, character, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong
I am incredibly excited to begin this journey with the students and families of Alpha Miami Beach. I look forward to building strong relationships, fostering a culture of belonging and collaboration, and creating meaningful opportunities for students to discover their passions and reach their full potential.
Outside of school, I enjoy making the most of life by exploring new places, spending meaningful time with my amazing daughter, and embracing new adventures. Traveling is one of my biggest passions because I love experiencing different cultures, discovering beautiful places, and creating memories along the way.
I’ve been drawn to the outdoors, whether that means relaxing at the beach, exploring somewhere new, or taking on an exciting adventure. The ocean is one of my favorite places to be, and scuba diving has become a passion that allows me to experience an entirely different world beneath the surface. Overall, I enjoy living an active and adventurous lifestyle, making meaningful memories, and appreciating every opportunity to explore the world around me.
My path to Alpha began with a love for science, health, and caring for others. I went on to earn my BS in Biomedical Sciences and spent six years working in healthcare, where I developed a strong foundation in health, safety, and organization. That experience showed me just how important it is for people to feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for—and ultimately inspired me to bring that same mindset into a school community. I’m so excited to bring my experience to Alpha Miami Beach, where I’ll help create and maintain an environment in which students feel safe, supported, and cared for, and families can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands each day.
Outside of school, you can usually find me dancing, cooking, or spending time with family! Growing up surrounded by Colombian culture sparked my love for salsa dancing, which is still one of my favorite ways to have fun and stay connected to my roots. I also love spending time with my family over a good asado (BBQ), usually accompanied by plenty of food, laughter, and some very competitive board games!
My journey in education has taken me across the United States and around the world. For more than two decades, I’ve taught, mentored, and led in school communities in the U.S., Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Spain, where I spent the past eleven years at the American School of Madrid. I’ve taught across multiple grade levels and served as a teacher leader, with a constant belief that every child brings their own story, strengths, and potential to school. My international experience has deepened my appreciation for diverse perspectives and ways of learning, and I’m excited to bring that global perspective to Alpha Miami Beach while getting to know the children and families in our community. Yoga, meditation, and breathwork have been an important part of my life, both as personal practices and as a way of supporting others. I’m a certified yoga and breathwork instructor and for 16 years have had the joy of guiding practices that bring calm, presence, and balance. My love for the ocean led me to become a certified rescue diver and participate in marine conservation work as a substrate surveyor. I’m also always up for a challenge, and one of my most meaningful accomplishments was completing the ~900-kilometer Camino de Santiago across northern Spain, walking from the French border to the Atlantic coast. I love exploring new places, taking on new adventures, and seeing where the journey takes me.
Morgan holds Masters degrees from Vanderbilt University and the London School of Economics and has spent her career building relationships, communities, and trust. She began her career in Talent Relations, Marketing, and Sales in the sports and music industries before moving to a leprosy colony in India, where she taught English and coordinated medical care. Over the following fifteen years she worked in healthcare as a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Program Director, caring for patients and families and building and scaling programs at some of the top-rated hospitals in the world. She advocated for change in access to end-of-life care and healthcare delivery at the local, state, and national level and is now bringing that same conviction to shaping the future of education. She first discovered Alpha while searching schools for her own daughter and could not be more excited to be building the Alpha Miami Beach and Boca Raton communities one family and one relationship at a time.
I joined Alpha because after years of shaping how people experience entertainment and healthcare, I have never believed more deeply that we are standing at the beginning of something that will change everything. Alpha is where trust, human connection, and limitless potential aren't just words. They are the essence of everything we do.
