They both say they really like school. Eli said he loved it once, so we're getting there. And that's from a very laconic, you know, 13-year-old teen, so that's high praise. His prior school was more challenging because he really likes to learn, and other kids could be disruptive at times or move more slowly than he could. And at Alpha, he can move at his own pace. And there's so much that he likes to do and wants to do that isn't included at typical school. One of the elements of growth mindset that they've become very aware of here is, when it gets hard, I work harder, and not, I can't do this, I can't do this yet. Emma was struggling with a piece one day, and she said, oh, I can't do this. Yet. In both of them, we've been seeing a nice growth in independence. The reason that kids can learn in two hours is it's all individualized. No wasting time, no boredom, no whatever. It's always right there in that optimized learning zone.
