Dr. Tasha Arnold is a dynamic educational leader with extensive experience in American and international schools across the US, Europe, and Asia. She has spent her career transforming schools, implementing innovative learning models, and fostering personalized educational experiences that empower students to reach their highest potential. She has taught at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels, specializing in IB/AP Sciences and Learning Support across various curriculums (USA, UK, IB, and AP).
I joined Alpha because I believe in redefining education. Personalization, hands-on learning, and skill development are the pillars of a truly impactful education. Alpha’s approach aligns with my vision of ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally in a way that is uniquely suited to them.

Sam is a Fulbright Scholar and former Teach For America corps member with degrees spanning literacy, linguistics, mathematics, and neurodiversity. She’s spent the last decade teaching a variety of high-level academic courses, coaching educators all over the world in the science of learning, and designing schools that challenge the one-size-fits-all model.

Andy Gibson has dedicated his career to youth development through sport and education. He has worked with the Dallas Stars and USA Hockey to grow ice hockey and founded Dallas Stars Adaptive Sports to create inclusive opportunities for all athletes. A former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, he’s passionate about helping kids reach their full potential.
With 16 years of experience in education across the U.S., Dubai, and Vietnam, Jessica has served in roles spanning teaching, counseling, coaching, and administration. A DFW native and parent, she’s supported thousands of students and trained hundreds of teachers worldwide. She’s drawn to Alpha’s belief that with the right tools and freedom, students can exceed even their own expectations.
I will ensure that my students are constantly challenged to push themselves further than they every have before by providing unconditional support and helping them build critical life skills.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM from NC State University, then went on to complete a Master's in Sports Administration at Arkansas State University. Along the way, I taught at nearly every grade level, most recently middle school, which gave me a rare, ground-level understanding of how kids learn and grow at every stage:and what it takes to guide them there. That same range shows up in my coaching. I've coached basketball, football, baseball, and tennis, and I bring the same mindset to the field, the court, and the classroom: show up, put in the work, and trust the process.
Katherine is excited to join Alpha this year as a Reading Specialist and LL guide! Before Alpha, Katherine previously taught kindergarten and first grade for a combined total of eight years. She uses her Orton-Gillingham training to help students grow as confident readers. Katherine is a published author and is currently working on a novel, and loves entrepreneurship! She owns a build-your-own-bouquet-style bloom bar, which she runs in the summer and on weekends!
Shawn brings more than 20 years of experience working with young people and families, first in ministry as a youth pastor, discipleship minister, and associate pastor, and more recently as a public school educator teaching core subjects at both the elementary and middle school levels. He holds a master’s degree in education from Southwestern Seminary and is also a certified public speaker, life coach, and corporate trainer through the prestigious Maxwell Leadership Team. Shawn and his wife have four children ranging from middle school to college, along with an adorable dog named Sammy. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, he has also called Tennessee and Texas home. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities, as well as watching a great movie.
